The latest: Sharks head coach Joe Thornton says the team will make changes in the summer

Sharks head man Joe Thornton said Monday that he is “confident” in the group’s depth, but that it will make significant changes in June to make it a playoff team.

Thornton said the Sharks’ depth is good and that “it’s going to make a big difference in the offseason.”

“I think this is a great group.

It’s very talented,” Thornton said on the NHL Network’s “Today in the NHL” show.

“I’m confident that we’re going to be in the playoffs.

I’m not too worried about the depth, because we’re all in it together, and we all have a chip on our shoulder and we’ve got to work as a group to get to where we want to be.”

Thornton was asked about a potential change of coach and the Sharks in the next month.

“There’s going’t be a change,” he said.

“We’re going with what we’re doing.

The players, the coaches, and the staff are all really good, and I think the guys are hungry. “

The chemistry is pretty good.

The players, the coaches, and the staff are all really good, and I think the guys are hungry.

They want to win.”

The Sharks will make major changes to the team in the upcoming summer as they look to make the playoffs for the first time since 2012.

In addition to the addition of center Andrew Desjardins, the Sharks have added forward Tyler Kennedy, defensemen Logan Couture, Joe Pavelski, Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau, and goaltender Tuukka Rask.
