The new marine science centre at Darwin will open to the public in October.
The centre will offer research into the marine environment, fish biology and ecology, fisheries management, and the management of fish populations.
The centre is the brainchild of the Darwin Chamber of Commerce, and is part of the city’s wider economic development strategy.
It will also provide a forum for local business owners, and provide an opportunity for the community to get involved in the creation of a better future for our local and regional economy.
The Centre will be open from October 1, 2019 to October 31, 2020.
It is located at the corner of Swan Street and Swanston Street in the city.
