The salmon fisherry is a partnership between the Federal Government, the State of Washington and the United States Marine Fisheries Service.
We’ve partnered with the Salmon Alliance of Washington to develop the Fish Market.
The Fish Market is a collaborative effort between the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife, the U.S. Fish and Game Service, and the Salmon Fishing Industry Association of Washington.
As part of this partnership, the Fish Markets fisheries are managed by the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).
This collaborative effort ensures that Washington’s salmon fisheries are not only healthy, but also sustainable.
A lot of things have changed in the last decade for salmon fishing in the Northwest.
We have seen a huge influx of salmon from the Pacific Northwest, a massive increase in fishing licenses, and a drastic drop in the numbers of fish being caught.
In 2018, our fishing license numbers dropped from 823 to 483.
This means that fewer fish are being caught by the fishers.
It also means that we are not capturing fish in the waters we are fishing in.
This has resulted in a huge increase in the number of species that are being lost in our fisheries.
There are also more salmon species in the ocean, and more of them are reaching the end of their life cycle.
The abundance of salmon is not good news for our fisheries and the salmon fishers, so we are working to address this issue.
To date, the fish markets fisheries have provided over $400 million to support salmon fisheries in the state of Washington, and this year, we are excited to continue to support our fisheries with more salmon.
With our Fish Market, we will be creating a new fishery that is truly sustainable and environmentally friendly.

The Salmon Market provides a place for fishermen to bring their fish to market to be harvested, to shop for a variety of seafoods, and for consumers to enjoy salmon.
